Norwegian icons is an exhibition that displays Norwegian design icons from the 1900s primarily focusing on the era 1940 to 1975. The exhibition series began in.
Oslo in January 2013 and traveled to Tokyo that same year. We are now finally ready for the exhibition in New York, and we are looking forward to exhibiting the Norwegian treasures of modern Mid-Century design in New York, May 2014.

Jan Lunde Knudsen was one of Norways most internationally oriented furniture designers of the 1960s. For most of the 50s, he lived in the United States. Back in Norway in the early 60s, he worked for a period designing furniture for Sørlie møbler. The model Rondo was produced in 1961. It was an elegant stack chair which came in wood or steel with leather or fabric. The same theme, a curved back, was used by Lunde Knudsen for Tele, designed for Sørlie møbler around 1963.
